I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing.
Just know that I understand and feel for you during this time.
Losing my Dad years back is a huge ache in my heart.
As time marches on... remembering him with stories always make me smile, and keeps him alive inside me.

A big squeeze hug to you!
Thanks peachie and a hug back at you. I'm looking forward to seeing you and all the rest of the gang when we get to Eastport. School is out June 5th and we should be home about the 7th.

So how long will you be home? (note: the answer I'm looking for is through September 22nd or so).

You never know, maybe indefinitely... may need to look for a job. You know, in hindsight, I probably should have taken a job last summer but Danny decided at the last minute not to retire because of the economy.

Two weeks ago his job at the school for next year was surplused and we both will have a reduction in pay. He will have a job somewhere in the county but not at our school at it now stands.
