Knee-biters, huh? Never heard that one! Is that your very own expression? Can I use it?

Fun videos, Maine Writer. Almost felt like I was sliding with you!

Jump a plane and come right over! You can experience the flipping stomach when you make that sharp drop for yourself.

lol... that's got to be one of the best things about having kids--you get to do stuff like this all over again, and no one thinks twice! They're our little "in"! Although I have to admit, I'd go without them!

knee biters---bigger than the ankle biters? lol...

That looks like SO much fun! We go around here too (when we get snow!) usually at least are able to once a season lately! lol... but I am sure its much more fun up there!

So, we call this "sledding".... you guys call it sliding up there... I think I have heard you guys call sledding for when your ride a snow mobile? Is that correct?

I guess once we move on up, we are going to have to change around what we call things huh?! lol

It must of been great. My youngest was sliding so0ooo much this weekend she broke her sled. You can't "pop a wheel~ie" and expect the sled to be okay after the 10th jump.

LoveeeeeeeeeeeeeeEeee the pictures Maine Writer!!!

LOL! When we were up last year, we stopped in a few stores and asked where we could buy sleds for the kids to go sledding in the city park. After a few very wide-eyed, "Um, we don't sell those here, and I they don't really allow people to sled there" responses, someone finally got more specific to find out we were looking for little plastic "sleds." They explained the difference! I still don't know what you call them, but I do know the difference between sledding and sliding.

E, in NJ we call those little plastic things you slide down the hill with "sleds" too... and if you go in any store they will have signs for "sleds".

So, what are they called in Maine? I know you go sliding on them... but what is the item called?

I described them as, "You know, those little plastic sledding thingies!"

"OH! You mean to slide down the hill on?"

"Isn't that what I said?"
