I can't believe it's almost here!! And MAN is it cold up there!!!! I still do not have a warm coat. I guess I'll be shopping along the way. I ordered one from Sears online and it was too big, and I actually used the measurement chart, took my measurements, and everything. Bummer!

Anyway, it looks like the bottom has dropped out of the temperatures again. Can't wait to get there!

We will be coming up on the 10th of March ourselves lol. We are excited, hope we see some snow . Being from Mississippi we don't have any warm jackets or coats at all. Might have to hit up L.L. Bean in Bangor when we get there. Be sure to have fun, I know we will.

There is an L.L. Bean outlet in Bangor now too, of course the one in Freeport is much larger.

Cold it is... but not for long. This kind of cold is unseasonable for this time of year and the weather guys are saying it is "record breaking" cold. At this point we should be at about 35 or so as a high, not 2.

The wind chill yesterday was down around 30 below, but I was still showing properties to some hardy Floridians.. and even submitted an offer! I guess a little cool weather didn't scare them off! ha ha ha Enjoy it!

I just don't know what it's going to feel like even in the 30s for days. The mid 30s is our LOW in the winter, and that usually only happens 3-4 days out of each year. This year we had two nights that got down to around 28, and we all nearly froze to death! We're going to have some adjusting to do when we move. I look at the pictures of Mainers out in the snow with little more than a sweatshirt and windbreaker on and imagine that our bodies will adjust like that with a little time. Until then, we'll just bundle up! I nearly died laughing when I read a recent news article about the "balmy" weather you were having. Our balmy is 95 - your was 35!
