Me, too! You've all helped to reassure me that I'm going to love Maine, and that this move is the right thing. Thanks for a very special Christmas gift. Hope you all get something just as nice!

I have no idea what 2009 will bring for us, regarding our move, but I want to take this opportunity to wish each of you a very happy holiday season, and for all who celebrate Christmas, a very Merry Christmas

Default Merry Christmas from the Moon

Merry Christmas all! Whatever you all felt about the previous year and any anxieties you may have about the new year, I have a thought. A message was sent from lunar orbit, from a three man Apollo 8 capsule. These brave Americans gave us a little bit of hope and humility in what was a very tumultuous year.

It was 40 years ago today that Astronauts Frank Borman, James A. Lovell, Jr., and William A. Anders, transmitted this holiday message as they orbited the moon.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
