I can't take credit for finding this one either.... Elaine, our resident lurker who some of you met at the Seadog, lives over in Saint John, New Brunswick--also on the Bay of Fundy. She posted this link: Home | Bay of Fundy Tourism (on Facebook)

and this note!

"The amazing Bay of Fundy has been nominated in the international competition to determine the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Please take a few minutes and vote for our beautiful natural wonder at www.bayoffundytourism.com" This is an amazing place, and those of us here would love to have at least a chance of going into the next round!

PLEASE VOTE FOR US!! Follow the link.... and btw, don't let the fact that this is sponsored in NB fool you... the Bay of Fundy encompasses Downeast too, and this could be a nice boost for us--besides, in our neck of the woods, that border is more of an inconvenience between friends

I voted! That is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever visited. Just an hour and a half from my house. Absolutely amazing place!

I'll vote. I visited St. John last October and watched the Reversing Falls and just took in some of the beauty. St. John actually reminded me a lot of Portland in terms of size and setup. Beautiful area.

I voted. When my dear sister was alive one of our favorite places to camp was at Cobscook Bay. Not as extreme as the Canadian Maritimes tides , which she also visited, but very impressive. We would dig clams for breakfast at low tide and marvel at how quickly our presence was erased.
