That's just Les Otten using his cronies in Disgusta to further another one of his usual, soon to fail businesses.

The phrase, "More Skiing, Les Otten," comes to mind.

In theory folks are preparing to burn more wood for heat.

Folks who sell cord wood are busier than a cat chasing butterflies.

On the other hand, I manage ~150 acres of treegrowth. I have been advertising via 'Freecycle' every week that anyone can come here and cut as much wood as they wish. We get a dozen inquires each week. Since spring when I started advertising u-cut wood on 'Freecycle', we have had one man actually come here, cut down and haul away 1 cord of wood.

I do not think that in reality very many folks in Miane are truly shifting to wood heat.

Seems to be more time and money spent on the obvious.
