I don't know how to post a link, but Brooklin is featured in the latest Downeast Magazine. It is a bit of a fluff story, but alot of us read it anyway.

The General store had three copies and they were all dog-eared from being read.

The article does have some good pictures.

I peeked but couldn't find more than a leadup blurb to the story in the mag. Will have to call my daughter and have her send me a copy.

I don't know what the article looks like online... I always try to read these magazines at the rack, or, you always should go to the library.

It's still more fun to read them at the counter of the general store. The tourists still bought the 'used' copies.

I'll have to remember to get a copy, I have to admit I haven't picked one up for such along time.

Gotta love those tourists. They are good for a few things; one being their money and the other giving us a laugh while they walk away.

I'm afraid the library out here does not carry Downeast, but I already talked to my daughter and she is picking me up a copy. Anything related to Brooklin and Sedgwick I grab for my genealogy stuff.

Are you folks still having alot of rain? I'll take some if you send it. It seems strange to have sunshine every day, not that I am complaining.

Rain has been done for a few days. The swamp around my house should be dry now, but the brook is still running.
