Good luck! And buckle down - the storm is apparently changing course a bit!!
I haven't even seen the news! Is another hurricane heading this way? I'll take the rain, but they can keep the wind.

LOL! I just finished dinner AND now I'm hungry again after reading your post! LOL I already had the French influence before I came back - my great grandmother was French acadian. I think that is one reason I felt so at home in Maine. Oops! I started to put in a line in French BUT I'm sure the moderator hasn't gone to bed. Take care.

Sounds like you definately made the right decision. Grandchildren are way more important as they do not remain children for very long. Enjoy yourself and keep your ears open for those Acadien french speakers in Baton Rouge! Some of which may be my ancestors! LOL!!!

My dream of moving and living in Maine gone? NOT a chance. I love Maine, the people of Maine, and everything the entire state has to offer, but the dream is just put on hold for the moment. Got a super job, the people are absolutely wonderful. BUT they know that I love Maine AND want to be there SO in a couple of years or maybe three or four - after the grandchildren get a little older (they are now 4 and 2). Who knows where God will send me.

I have thoroughly enjoyed conversing with all of you on this forum AND if you all don't mind, I would still love to participate.

Take care and stay warm this summer! BTW - it was 106 here today!
I wish I could bottle some of this heat up for "ya'll" to use in the winter.

Love,
Judy
