Lived here 15 years, had about 4 in the house during that time. Today we killed 8. Any ideas or help will be greatly appreciated.

they come into your house to hibernate, then lay eggs in spring. the stink spawn leave your house and like salmon return back to your home in the fall. Somewhere on your exterior they are finding a way in. got to stop them!
we have had them at our house for the last 15 years, some years worse than others. one year there were literally hundreds on the side of the house. I took the shop-vac outside, hooked the hose up to a long PVC pipe and vacuumed them off the home.
good luck,

What they said! Shop vac, put into a bag of bug spray, take to land fill.

I’m in Western NC, every year their numbers increase, I’m having my porch screened before Spring just so we can go outside to sit without being bothered.
I bought a stink bug trap...don’t waste your money, set it out a week ago and the trap is empty.

They're all over the place. So annoying. I use a paper coffee cup and let them drop in (they are clumsy) and they wont fly right away. Then I release them outside which is probably dumb idea.

I think they are coming down the Chimney or live in the curtains.. One year I washed the curtains and there were substantially less. Now they're back.

Maybe we should just flush them in the toilet?

Try to kill as many of them as you can. They are an invasive species.

Thank you all for your ideas! The whole situation was weird, found a very small spot in the window frame that the a/c is in, we taped it up and no more bugs. But still, 8 in one day then no more? I don't think that many came in on 1 day in the same room yet. Anyway, thanks!!
