, "Lamentate" was actually a cd released from Arvo Part only a few years ago. I ended up downloading the song and some others on Itunes. I then read a little about him on Wikipedia. Very interesting. You can tell when you listen to his music a lot of it must have been or still is used in movies and such.

When I saw the video, it made me remember seeing Roland pushing his cart around Eastport collecting recyclables. I don't remember seeing his last summer. Is he still pushing his cart around?

I didnt realize the man with the push cart was an identifiable figure and like the theme song of Cheers, "everybody knows his name".

I think that some of you with "skills" need to run around filming all the towns we all want to know more about!

Hey, you could probably make a few bucks that way if you made it a marketed venture!

IIRC, some time ago Google was soliciting people to photograph towns and businesses, and interview people. Don't know if it is still going on.

Default Lament

Hello everyone, thank you for the kind and generous remarks with regard to the film I poseted, Lament, on youtube. I shot it a while back. One day I was driving home from the office and I heard on NPR a view of Arvo Part's album, 'Lamentate' and it struck me as being both sad and perfect for the background music.

Thanks again,

Ken Regan
