mainebrokerman thank you for reminding me of Marty. Gosh that takes me back! I remember laughing every night. We used to be very quiet so my father could hear Marty and then we would wait in anticipation for that smile! We watched like we had never seen it before. The thought brought a smile to my face

A couple of years ago Marty was on a commercial for some kind of car. He looked exactly the same as he did on Mt. Washington..

I like Joe Cupo and Kevin Mannix but I don't like the format on channel 6. If they gave the forecast lows for their 5 day forecast it would be great but they don't so I watch Channel 8. Some of us work nights and need to know the morning low temps too.

OMGosh I had forgotten about Marty! I was really little when he was up on the mountain, but yup, we'd wait for him every night. Now I'm chuckling a little bit, remembering that goofy grin of his.

So, he's still around?? I would've thought he'd be dead by now. He must've been younger way back then than I thought.
