Hi;
Does anyone have any thoughts about living in Oxford. Might be getting a job offer from a business there.

I Love Oxford. That was one of our thoughts when we were getting ready to move back home. I don't know alot of details about the town. Except they have a great Fair in September. But, Maine is a great place and I am sure you would love it.

Nice town and Highland Lake is right there with good recreational opportunities. It isn't too far from the Interstate and is close enough to ski areas to be convenient. There are several modular home builders in town and they help with the tax base. Taxes are not too bad if you don't own lake property.

Very nicely located between the turnpike (Rt 26 at Gray) and the western mountains, and you have Norway/South Paris next door with shopping, hospital, etc. Some very beautiful countryside around there.

My son lives in Oxford and I worked in Oxford for years. Nice town. Not too far from the interstate.
