I'm going to concur with that. I have no doubt there is a market.

I have several friends of this persuasion who haven't seemed to have a problem getting a job.

But here in Maine its good to get it before you come. Remember that there are more people in greater Philly than there are in the total of Maine, and they are spread pretty wide. Up in the hinterland, few people are going to be paying for psychotherapy.

This is a good point, but I think the OP is looking in Bangor. There are a few offices downtown. Many people moved from the hinterland to the Bangor area when the gas prices went up and the jobs in the hinterlands dried up and blew away.

CHCS Crisis workers are NEVER bored. Ever. Bless their hearts too because I sure as heck couldn't do what they do.

Bangor is only 45 minutes from MDI. I was talking about Bangor, not MDI. The friends I have who are therapists live in Bangor. And I have one who lives on MDI and works in Bangor.
