Does this forum update on a schedule? Sometimes it seems to update instantly. Sometimes it takes a while. Maybe when I post it happens to be just before an update, but sometimes it takes hours to update. Just curious.

Their servers have been choking a lot lately. Sometimes there are no problems, other times they are very, very slow.

I usually hit refresh or F5 to get the latest page, other times it seems to update automatically.

I've been having trouble with DMs. Sometimes it locks up and never goes through. So, if I DM you the same thing twice......

Speaking of which, I sent a question to NMLM the other day with a fire department question. I don't think it ever went through!

Fire departments in Maine have always been tops at saving foundations.

Good to know! DH is wondering if Maine requires, encourages or could care less about the IFSAT seals. Texas doesn't require them, so he hasn't gotten them, but wants to know if he should before transfering.

No clue. I put my googly-eyes on, but couldn't even find out what that means. All I came up with was Food Safety and some strange foreign web pages.

Sorry, I said it wrong. It's IFSAC with a C. Maybe that will help.

Yep, that helps...

"Maine is the only state in the union who does not provide accredited certification through either the ProBoard or IFSAC for its firefighters."

Unless it has changed recently, it would appear not.
