I've tried Frederick's three times and have not had a good meal yet. Yes, agree with you on Hotham.

I ordered a cheeseburger and fries twice. Iceberg lettuce, a tomato that looked like it had been frozen, and a thick onion...nothing fresh. It was gross. One time we ordered take out at work and the order was all messed up.

Their soups, steak&scallops, sandwiches (to me) taste excellent.

Is Caribou really rainy? I know it will be wet through the winter simply from snow and ice. I've been looking more at Caribou lately but I can't tell from things I've read on town sites. I lived in Seattle, Washington for years and I'm tired of the gloomy overcast rain filled days. I used to hang out and visit Maine a lot when I lived in Mass but I don't remember the southern parts of Maine being very rainy. Weather wise was very comparable to Mass though more snow the further north you went. I expect some rain and gloomy weather but I just don't want another Seattle..lol At some point, maybe next year I'll come spend some time in that area to see for myself. Until then, anything you can share with me is appreciated. Reading all these posts makes me want to move already but I've got 2 years here yet before I can.

That makes me feel better. The website kind of implies it rains a lot. I would think with the 120 days of growing season it would rain a fair amount. I'm looking forward to coming up there to check it out.
