I'm not sure if i'm doing this right, but I'll give it a shot. Ok - it worked! Ginger ( a therapy dog) and Maverick, and Chester (one of 3 cats)

Ohhhhh...therapy dog. What's he trained for? We finally got a free therapy/companion dog for the wife about 3 years ago. We could never afford the price. All we had to do was drive to PA. to pick her up. I'll try to get a photo up. She looks like a 85lb. jet black Belgian Shepard named Kieko.

Ginger, the Shepherd on the left is the therapy dog. In addition to my "paid" job at the hospital, I also volunteer with Ginger. Although she is fully trained in a variety of commands, a therapy dog needs to be checked out on attitude and comfort in the hospital setting. After demonstrating you have command of your dog and show they enjoy visiting with people - (aren't startled easily) they may qualify for certification. We mostly visit stroke patients - and cancer kids. The stroke patients often withdraw, and don't want to even try things - but when they see the dog, they want to pet them. The kids just beam when they see the dogs. It's really something to see the dogs bring out the patients when no one else is having any success. It's really a great thing to see. When I'm done I swing by and visit with my employees, they find the visit to be a real stress reliever. BTW, my first therapy dog was a solid black GSD that people often mistood for a Belgian Shepherd.

I know, many people told me to send his photo in with the "Got Milk?" logo.

You're cat so looks like a Chester - He seems as if he's a "Now bow to me you silly humans" kind of cat! Is that you're yard in Florida that the dogs are in? It's gorgeous!

Chester is actually a laid back cool cat. My blue point siamese is the one with the attitude. As for the yard, yes, it is part of the backyard, and thanks. We are really lucky, it's quite nice - oak trees that are about 200 years old - covered with moss...its really old FL. We are on the Orange River - have manatees swim up the river in the winter - some say the original Tarzan movies were filmed out on this river. Not really sure about that. Our community is a designated natural preservation area where density is limited to 1 acre or more per home - most have 5-10 acres. If I never had to venture out, it would be paradise here. I know I will miss it when we move - but I miss the old FL now and I still live here. Unfortunately FL has not practiced smart development. It's not fun or safe "out there" anymore.

I'm sorry to hear that,, I know the dilemma when you are very happy with your home but outside influences drive you to move. It's always hard to leave a home , but on the bright side you have MAINE waiting for you!
