Walmart's selection is less than Shaw in most instances. We found that we save quite a bit by going first to Walmart and then over to Shaw for red meat and some specialty items that Walmart doesn't sell. Here's a list I compiled before my wife shooed me out of the store:

Shaw Osco Vs Walmart in Ellsworth

Tomato Sauce: 1.69 vs .88
Bar M Franks: 1.49 vs .88
12 eggs 1.99 vs 1.98
18 eggs 2.94 vs 2.39
Half and Half 2.99 vs 1.78
Banannas .61/lb. vs .56/lb.
Anjou Pears none vs1.27 / lb.
Red onions 5.99 /lb. vs 1.48/lb.
Celery 1.99 vs 2.28
Avocado 1.29 ea. vs 1.00 ea.
Blueberries none vs 1.28 pkg.
Tea 3.29 pkg. vs 2.28 pkg.
Mustard 3.39 vs 1.50
Italian Bred crumb2.99 vs 2.36
33 oz decaf cffe 15.99 vs 8.98
