I ate at this place yesterday, it is off the chain! I had the clams with the belly's attached, I couldn't finish what they gave me for less that $15.00 I was stuffed! If you are ever in the area, stop in. Had to get to Bangor to my hotel so I could catch a flight this morning, drove down 2A to Lincoln almost fell asleep, had to pull over at a rest stop (Bells Fields?) and drink a thermos of coffee and burn some contraband commie cigars I found just to wake up! Back to reality, 100 degrees here in North Carolina.
I had the mashed potatoes, I have not tasted them like the way they make them since the early 1970's when my Gramma made them! It would not pay me to live within a tank of gas from that fine establishment! What a pleasant accidental find!
Great place! I frequent Grammy's during snowmobile season. The place is full of snowmobilers on the weekends. I have never been there any other season.
That does it, I'm stopping in next week when I'm down there (my brother in Oakfield has been telling me about this place for years).
My mom grew up in Oakfield, and I am related to about half the town! LOL!
