This one is film which I still use. Film is E100vs(Kodak Ektachrome), 100ASA. I also shoot with Velvia50(Fugi). DOF f11 @ 1/60.

I do have a cheap point and shoot digital($200 at Walmart) which I do use in certain situations. It has 6mp and the only one out there with a genuine German made Schneider lens so it takes great pics. The quality of the lens is the most important thing to buy a camera for. When I used to teach photograpy I told students the only real purpose of the camera body was too keep the film from falling to the ground...

I think we have stepped into each others footprints along with thousands of others taking your shot of the Portand Headlight.

At the risk of tacky self promotion I also publish posters, my most recent is a moon over portland poster. You can go to my website Photo Gallery Home - American PhotoArt Gallery to check it out, it's featured on my homepage. If anyone on this forum likes it I will have it shipped to you totally free. They all hand signed and numbered. You can PM me with your shipping address. I don't share it with anyone BTW.

Forest...I know you won't be interested, I have driven thru Agyle, I understand your perspective.

Yeah, isn't it the 2nd most photographed lighthouse in the world or something? I hate the fence and the brown bushes. I'm anxious to have more time and a better camera to do it more justice. Who knows, maybe I can even find a fresh perspective on it! Doubtful, but I'll try!!

Thanks for the info.

Yup, that fence and bushes are a bummer but defiantely keep trying, you never know what the weather or light will be. Some of my best shots were just plain luck. BTW if you want to check it out at sunrise(before the gate is open), you are allowed to walk in from the road anytime you want.

MRV I love that song....when I first saw the video I was struck by the changes in natural light throughout it. Whatever happened to Nickel Creek?

Good my mission is complete.

To have 'made your night', what more can any man ask of a lady.

I like the last one the best too. He looks like a young one...in the fall they go into rut and they get very ornery.

This guy below was so pissed from unsuccessfully catching a very cute cow moose he actually charged the RV.
