Bob Marley is good. If no one has ever heard him, be forewarned that he is not rated "G". My daughter has all of his cds and we laugh ourselves silly listening to them.
Tim Sample is very good. I am probably bias though as I grew up with his cousins.

Our whole family loves Bob Marley. He does many school fund raisers, twice at Greely HS in Cumberland. His bit about keg parties and those big red plastic cups is a riot.

It helps if your somewhat familiar with the wacky things that make up the lifestyle of your usual Mainiac.

Perhaps I am dating myself a bit, but I really love the Wicked Good Band!

Their tapes/cds and video ( Just 4 Dubs) are hilarious exhibiting a really
subtle humor, at times, and grand word play.

Among their classics : Katahdin Jeans, I Want To Be Buried in Bingham, Mass Institutute of Driving, Naumb as a Hake, Gray, and of course the classic State O Maine song

Should you be interested ( not a paid endorsement):

I looked, I couldnt find any sample songs to listen to on the web. Sounds interestng though. Just not interesting enough to pay for a cd without hearing it first. :-)

Bob Marley is hysterical! He is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington, and is wonderful about returning to do benefit fund-raisers. An all-around nice guy.

I saw him on Comedy Central one time and he did not use his Maine accent at all...
