ok- sorry, but nobody here at home wants to hear me complain anymore, but really! downeast maine is supposed to be cold and foggy when it gets like this. all sports practices had to be canceled at the school this afternoon and i heard some schools actually had to let the kids out early.

3:30 and its 87. was in the town office and the lady in front of me in line asks the clerk why they dont have air conditioning. she answered 'who would ever thought we would have needed one in cutler, especially in september'

It's weird but still better than February in my opinion. This has been a great summer weather wise . I wish they were all like this! We hit 98 here at the house yesterday at 2:30 pm. It ONLY got to 95 today and has since dropped to 90 at 3:40. By next Tuesday highs will be in the high 60's and low 70's......more like it!

As a friend of mine whom I worked with in the Cole Haan quality control department used to say at 4:45 every day...I can hear the tinkling of the ice cubes in the glass.....

We usually get about 3 or 4 days of this each year here in Eastport. It's generally in August asI recall but this year has been different. It breaks after a while.
