Yep! This old lake went from 161 to over 168 in just a few short months. That is a vertical rise of over 7 feet! Some are talking about achieving full pool at 172. If that happens we will have something to work with when power generation starts again. Gosh! What a difference it has made to my property. Many of the old stumps are no longer visible. I actually have a nice beach. Of course, if it keeps rising there will be wave erosion on the bank, but that is the least of my problems! Let's just keep getting more rains in the upper Sabine Basin. And keep praying for rain.

Things are looking up for many resort owners. The fishing tournaments will return to T-Bend if current conditions hold. It is just night and day compared to what it was in September and all of last year and even the year before.

Soo--let's not get too cocky, but things are sure lookin' up brothers and sisters.
