Hacienda Heights have Very Expensive Homes rght on the Hills where the Temple is at.

Ohh I know where that temple is at as i use to pass it going into Whitter!!

Basicly (correct me if im wrong) you want to stay South of the 60 freeway as that is where all the good homes are..

I live in Hacienda Heights.... couple blocks away from the Budhist temple, never been to it, but it is really nice. Hacienda Heights is a great area so long as you stay on the south side of the 60 freeway away from La Puente. Rowland is like china town, it is a nice area, but the freeway over there is always bumper to bumper in traffic!... Diamond bar, i love diamond bar i want to live there someday.

Diamond Bar/Walnut is best out of these areas because of the top schools. Rowland Heights is great if you like Asian food. Hacienda Heights is a great place due to easy commuting to Los Angeles.

Anything within a mile or two of the temple along Colima is gorgeous! Stay NORTH of the 60fwy and close to the hills. The city there is beautiful all the way from Whittier Blvd. to just before Fullerton Road on Colima. Between Fullerton Road and Nogales it gets super chessy and weird in there with all the strip malls but up in the hills the homes are gorgeous. Super clean streets. The only town homes or condos available are on Colima between Countrywood and Halliburton are upper middle class and super clean & gorgeous. The few apartments that the city has on Colima are luxury. The homes are breath taking esp. the new track near Skyline Drive. The people are very rich and drive Bentley's, Mercedes, BMW, Masarati's, Porsche's on any average day. There's European's(white), & Asian's (Chinese and Taiwanese) are primarily found living on the North side. Majority of the hispanics, Korean's, and Blacks, live in the more Southern side of the 60.

Yes, South of the 60 is correct. Great town homes, condos and custom 6,000sft homes on the south side. It's a hidden oasis. And anything located within 4 miles of the Temple is considered to be on Sacred Land/Ground which means it's value is extraordinary.

Shhhhh! Hey, keep it down! For those of us who live here, this is our quiet little secret.

I've lived in La Puente, West Covina and Walnut. For those familiar with these areas, little else needs to be mentioned. Nooo further comments!
