A type of neighborhood where there is no crime, no gangs, and no violence, just a peaceful area. Do you think these kind of neighborhoods exist in LA?

I don't think that exists anywhere. Every neighborhood has it's problems and it's issues. There are great neighborhoods in Los Angeles but perfection is unrealistic.

Studio City is pretty close.

Low Crime
Good geographical setting - hills and flat areas
Great location, near popular places and freeways.
Vibrant community
Many close entertainment and shopping options
Good value for rental costs
Close to Redline

I do not think that area exists in any major city or even smaller city. There are very good areas in L.A as well as other cities but not without any crime, etc..

Perfect is relative. It's all about what you are comfortable with and can afford. Sometimes you have to take the better good for a little bad. Such as working class neighborhoods and it's issues vs affluent. So what maybe perfect for one is not perfect for another. Some neighborhoods really don't have gang issues, just people who may look like it.

So true. And even the "best" neighborhoods aren't immune to the problems of surrounding communities. I work in Beverly Hills and see examples of tagging in many places. While there may not officially be any gangs in B.H., there's obviously some influence or infiltration.

There are many peaceful neighborhoods and areas all over LA county with no gangs and with very low crime. But if your definition of perfection is that crime does not occur ever, well that's simply unrealistic not only in LA but anywhere. Crime or the possibility of crime is simply a reality that must be factored into life no matter where one lives.

Like others have said, there are safe, peaceful areas. But even the safest neighborhoods can have crime - there are no "perfect" neighborhoods anywhere.

I've found some neighborhoods that come close to my personal "perfect," but it's always a balancing act, and beyond the safety issue much of what makes a place "perfect" is fairly subjective.

Glendale. It really is perfect.. ONLY bad thing is that it's expensive (to buy) renting is actually cheaper than areas like West L.A. I pay $950 for a 1bedroom with balcony, central AC & heat, gated parking, etc.

Although there are gangs in neighboring areas they don't affect Glendale in any way because of Glendale PD.. They are VERY effective and their reputation is known.. Glendale is extremely safe, vibrant - yet peaceful, diverse (Armenian, Asian, Hispanic, White), GREAT shopping, great food, lots of small business, great community vibe, excellent city services (advantage over being in L.A. communities) and the excellent police.. also pretty great schools, and EXCELLENT location - close to downtown, close to the valley, close to Hollywood, you are at the exact middle for getting anywhere in Los Angeles county..

Oh and there is "tagging" here too but it's mostly high school students AND because we are our own city, the city is VERY fast on getting it covered up as fast as it can

I would also agree with the person who said Studio City.. and along those same lines Burbank..
