Are you sure those are the hours for the location on Sunset Blvd? Aroma Bakery Cafe; we went for brunch on the weekend - haven't been during the week - and the menu clearly says they don't have closing hours, they just stay open until they're too tired to keep working. There's another location in Encino.

Aroma Bakery Cafe - Hollywood - Los Angeles, CA (has bad reviews, but the food is good)

PHIPPIPPE'S on Alameda, the old tried and true French Dip place.
They have very good breakfast, but the drawback is that they stop serving it about 10/11AM.
They have great pancakes, omelets, fresh OJ, French toast, homemade biscuits, breakfast potatoes, and they give you so much you can feed two.

Their coffee is still only $.9 cents a cup.

DUKES on SUNSET is still family owned and it is good/decent. I have been a customer since 1974 when they were on Santa Monica.

Want to move up a bit but still reasonable, I CUGINI'S in Santa Monica is a good place, or try SHANGHAI RED'S in the Marina with outside seating.

Hummmmmmmmmm, I'm hungry!

I agree with Lizzy: the Phillipe breakfasts are incredible. And their salsa is delicious. No place like Phillipe.
