I just want to go to a place surrounded by flowers/nature/animals to take photographs.

I googled things but I can't seem to find anything.

The Huntington.
Some gardens out in La Canada whose name I forget at the moment.
Neither has animals except for squirrels and other rodents. But they are beautiful.

Descanso Gardens | Beautiful Every Season

I've heard that the area around Santa Anita Park/Raceway in Arcadia is nice, too.

Thanks, that's it.
Beautiful place, less known than the Huntington and usually less crowded.

There's a lovely garden at both the Getty Museums. There's also a botanical garden at the LA Zoo.

There's a beautiful garden in Beverly Hills at the Robinson Mansion [you must make reservations] that has the largest collection of Australian palm trees in the U.S.
