Just seen the website - it's a noice looking place. You sure you aren't part of the management team? $1725 and you are a student? Not that there aren't students with wealthy parents.

It's ridiculopusly expensive but it's West LA, so what are you going to do. It's not far from UCLA about 10-15 min by car. You'll be near Century City.

i would check the palms area over beverly hills. you'll get a much better price on rent and be closer to UCLA. there is a triangle formed by venice blvd and the 10 and 405 freeways that is filled with apartments, from old and grungy to brand new. you should be able to find a nice one bedroom in this area for under $1500. I would say that Palms is equally as safe as the address in question, and it also closer to the beach so the weather will be cooler.

Welcome to LA and the overpriced apartments. Your rent is a bit high but you are in a great spot. I am actually near the Beverly Center and love it cause I am pretty central to everything......the beach, the hills, the nightlife. Enjoy your apartment for the duration of your lease, this will allow you time to explore the areas that you will be hanging out in and then you can taylor your pick to your liking. You are also going to need a great hairstylist, shoot me an email....I am in your area.

Cheers,
Giovanna
