to unload the moving truck when we arrive. I think a couple of guys (Maybe high schoolers or college kids) for an hour or two. How could I find someone like that when the time comes?

We will be moving next summer. Is there some kind of blog or community info center? Maybe a church that would have access to young people? I just want a couple of people that we could pay cash, not a professional moving company. What are your thoughts?

You're moving to BEVERLY HILLS ............ I hope you DO NOT have the usual furniture known in that hood. Today people have dense particle board computer work stations (free from work), exercise equipment (very awkward to move/assemble) and lacquer pianos and custom hide-a-beds. If you're moving into a rancher with double doors yeh, call the local Boy Scout or church group. BUT.........AND you have nothing worth stealing. If you find your "floaters" ask for personal current I.D. in advance, then confirm at the door. oh.................forgot..............any guns??? Lockdown.

Lol. Friends/family or a moving company. I would be wary to trust any random stranger. Good luck

You’re moving to Beverly Hills and you don’t have a full service mover that transports and unloads your furniture? Just asking. Looks like you have also been posting about moves to Atlanta and Seattle. And the post about finding a one bedroom near a bus line. OK.

Some parts of Beverly Hills have many apartments.

As vincenze told you, just rent a pickup truck and drive to a nearby Home Depot. You'll find people there who work for an hourly wage. They will help you unload your moving truck.

My risk tolerance level is low. I spoke with a local State Farm agent before I hired these hourly laborers. $hit does happen.
