If that horse track that keeps killing horses (Santa Anita?) can no longer have horse races, can we have dirt car racing there instead, such as ARCA, World of Outlaws and other sprint cars, various late model series, etc.? That would rule. Oh, hey, there could also be a beater derby for homeless people so they'll have something to do -- the winner could get free housing and groceries for a year or something. Works for me.

Yeah, that's something the neighborhoods around the track could get behind....noise, lots of noise, usually at night.
