You are right about the dangers to pets !! Incidents of that should be reported as well ! Not just beaches: parks, streets, trails, near streams. This is more preventable collateral awful harm - after the last election you can bet the needle drug use and meth fueled problems are going to skyrocket

Lol. Um no. Not dangers TO pets. Pet urine and feces into the water.

Pets don’t get HIV/AIDS nor Hepatitis.

and all of the estuaries are gonna be a real mess with all runoff from the upstream camps- needles are going to included in the trash heaps that come down in the floods when it starts raining..well the environmentalists are gonna see what happens when their heroes are making big money by parking people outside for their income. the feces, trash and God knows what else will pollute the estuaries virtually overnight...disgusting preventable environmental disaster - most of the CA coast line will be hit hard this winter and on into 2019.
The Santa Ana River wash and other washes with more vegetation are probably gonna have some dead bodies flooded out as well...

Since you’ve brought up the discarded needles topic ... how about educating us with some facts on how many people have ever actually contracted diseases from discarded needle pricks? Inquiring minds would love to know.

I have the answers. But it would be much more meaningful from you, TC.

Thanks in advance!

From your link: Santa Monica Issued a statement saying: "Santa Monica cares immensely for the health and safety of those who enjoy state and county beaches and Saturday’s incident involving a beachgoer is deeply disturbing. Based on information readily available, this is the first incident of this kind reported to the City.

Oh I didn’t ask “how many people have been stuck by discarded needles?”

I asked how many people, anywhere, any time period, have ever contracted a disease ... such as HIV/AIDS or Hepatitis ... from a discarded needle prick. And I didn’t ask if it’s theoretically possible ... I asked how many cases ... in the whole world, if you’d like, let alone California, let alone LA.

You and others here have raged about the discarded needle dangers plenty before. Now I am asking you to back up real cases. If it’s such a danger ... and so prevalent ... there must be some data available through health department statistics. You can bet your bippy that EVERY person who has EVER been stuck accidentally by a discarded needle has sought immediate medical attention. And these things are recorded.

So how many cases, TCROX? There are literally millions of discarded needles every year in California. This MUST be a major threat, no? Best you can come up with is one incident of someone in the LA county being pricked? No follow-up of actual disease?

Waiting.

Warning! If you know anyone that fishes the estuaries- spread the word that the fish are probably inedible and may be sick!
More needles will be found in larger fish as they can be mistaken for small fish ! Off shore and in estuaries!

The homeless addicts are too fried to dispose of needles properly of course - especially in the wash camps which they use as dumping grounds anyhow

The feces mixed with the other toxic waste from the "homeless" will become more hazardous as it dries out and blows around next summer
Thanks Eric Jerry and Gavin for your orchestrated human and environmental disaster !!!!!!

Roflmfao ... you just get better every post.

Still waiting for your answers.

Where’s the evidence for any of the panic you are selling?

Come on, bubba. Show us fish with needles and then a report on how disease has managed to survive from human to trash to estuary to fish to remaining viably infectious for a person filleting the fish to get stuck, contract AIDS and die a horrible death.

SNL needs to do a skit on this theory being spread by Qanon conspiracists!
