You should have done a little more research

Less than 5 percent is a concrete wall
Israel actually has a series of security barriers serving different fronts and purposes. The best known of these is the separation fence bordering the Palestinian Administered Territories. This fence was built in response to the 132 Palestinian suicide bombings between 2000 and 2004, which killed 502 Israelis and wounded thousands more.

In March 2002 alone, 140 Israelis were murdered in a continually escalating wave of Palestinian terrorism. Noting that only one suicide bomber managed to come from Gaza, where a security fence was already in place, Israel began construction of a security fence facing Palestinian areas of the West Bank in 2003.

Although sections of concrete wall are most often pictured in the media, these account for only 3 percent of the barrier, primarily in residential areas and along highways where Palestinian snipers had targeted Israeli citizens.

The remaining 97 percent consists of a double chain link fence flanking a dirt patrol road. Enhanced with electronic sensors that alert the Israel Defense Forces to movement along the fence, its object is less to stop infiltrators than to deter, detect and track them. https://www.azcentral.com/story/opin...rst/678600001/

I wonder how ruth bader ginsberg is feeling today? She's the picture of health ( mental and physical) ..... I think she'll make it through Trump's next term for sure (?).... well anyhow... looks like the federal government will step into these areas so neglected by the left...the AG for sure....justice dept......maybe even the epa or cdc-- maybe have to go to the scotus ...the president is about restoring some law and order.... maybe even some elected leaders... we'll get this fixed...walls and facilities are gonna be built and we can restore some kindness, safety and sanity to this liberal abused situation. Its gonna be great to see the streets cleaned up and the "homeless" in a nice safe, fully supervised place getting the treatment and care they need.

You don't need to go that far to see that it works, the border wall in our own backyard has worked wonders.

"It was an area that was out of control," Henry says. "There were over 100,000 aliens crossing through this area a year."

Today, Henry is assistant chief of the Border Patrol's San Diego sector. He says apprehensions here are down 95 percent, from 100,000 a year to 5,000 a year, largely because the single strand of cable marking the border was replaced by double -- and in some places, triple -- fencing.

"Here in San Diego, we have proven that the border infrastructure system does indeed work," Henry says. "It is highly effective."

From your own source "double and triple fencing" not a wall my friend, fencing and I never argued against fencing not once, it's a vital part of a secure border. A 30' ugly concrete wall is just an idiotic idea that the boy king decided he wants and he will huff and puff until he gets his way.

The Israeli wall being held out as being successful despite not all being concrete is silly. Israel's wall is not just a border wall, but also military, and thus fully integrated into all systems with countless options on the table.

You aren't saying much that I disagree with. Yes we need border security but a wall is not the answer. Better fencing and enhanced security both electronic and boots on the ground are needed.

In an ongoing effort to combat homelessness in Los Angeles County, officials are looking to fund creative housing solutions from outside of government.

Launched this month, the Los Angeles County Homeless Initiative’s Housing Innovation Challenge is offering $500,000 and $1 million — up to a total of $4.5 million — to pay nonprofit, for-profit and governmental organizations to develop project proposals for homeless housing solutions that can be used across the county.
