We are going to be working in Glendora from 9am-6pm and Studio City 8am-5pm, two young kids, where to live?

We will make good money and be able to live in a nice neighborhood.

Thanks for the advice as always!

Neither has a great public school district (depends where you live in Monrovia, and it is improving on the elementary level); PUSD ranks toward the bottom of the state.

Burbank is a decent option for a family with two young kids. Schools are better than Pasadena. Glendale is good too and it feels like the majority of its population is Armenian, if that matters to you (great kabob choices btw).

Well the question is does "good money" include private schools. If so then Pasadena/Altadena/Sierra Madre are all fine.

If not, La Canada, Arcadia, South Pas would be the better way to go.

Rigjt. Good money is $3000 rent and $1000 for private schools at least

"At least" is right. Few private schools in that area that cost $1,000 per month for one child, much less two. Even the parochial schools are upwards of $16,000 per year. Poly, for grades 4-6, is nearly $26,000 per year.

exactly. Also Glendora and Studio City are not exactly next door so it will be hard to find something that is a good commute for both people regardless of budget

If you're a member of St. Phillip's and do volunteering, tuition gets down to ~$12,000 annually for 2 kids. St. Monica in La Crescenta and Assumption seems to be a similar price.

Pasadena Christian, St. Mark's, Weizmann were in the 14-16k range per kid.

Interesting that there's such a large discrepancy even among the religious schools.
