They did okay. While I was impressed on their work on West LA and Hollywood, I was disappointed the Valley wasn't included. Also, they sorta made East and South LA real small and industrial.

It's a snapshot of some areas, mashed into a much more compact game world. It does feel like Los Angeles though.

Unfortunately the size of the map doesn't allow for the details which we would all enjoy, but considering the limitations, yes I think they did a good job.

which part of los angeles was represented by the extreme most northern part of the games map it was a very small town on the coast and it had thick forest around it, and it had a mountain gondola to take you to the top.

out past the military base

No Dodger Stadium or Staples Center, and they really shafted downtown's skyline.

They got the overall feel down nearly perfectly. West side LA, especially Santa Monica, Venice, and Beverly Hills were done amazing. Sunset/Hollywood were also done great. But it's mainly bits and pieces of noticeable landmarks thrown together. They basically took LA and removed all of the suburban neighborhoods and just included certain landmarks and city parts.

Their version of Echo Park is a joke though. Absolutely nothing like it.

I did like how they included the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. I've always wanted to hop in a monster truck and plow everyone out of the way. Now I can.

I don't know -- I didn't see any homeless people cursing at people or engaging in other anti-social behavior.
