Hi everyone, just a quick question about this area. My friends and I always end up wanting donuts late at night and there's a 24/7 Krispy Kreme drive thru on Crenshaw in this area and I'm wondering if it would be a bad idea to go over there late at night safety wise? I've never been to that area, so I just wanted to know if it was dangerous to go over there after 10 PM!
Thank you!

Actually it is. I stop there on occassion after visiting my brother who lives in Leimert Park at 39th & Norton. I stop there or maybe Walgreens late at night. I have never had a problem and I'm in that area quite often.

"It's not", meaning it's not dangerous

look at LAPD crime maps though, I would describe that exact location as pretty safe, LAPD rolls through crenshaw all the time, but it's spotty. not far from there I know a person was murdered outside of a girlfriends apt. complex and that did not show up on lapd crime maps at that time.

Very safe. Especially the drive thru, I go all times of night. That area as a whole is a lot safer than most folks would imagine.

Now, I wouldn't drive through the Stevely, Santa Rosalia, Marlton streets late at night for no reason. But even that area isn't horrid anymore.

Harrier would consider this causing the area to be dangerous.
