Really? I had not heard of WA state as an In-n-Out potential. But if this is true, then thanks for the inside info. Wil be a tough road there, with Dick's as the local favorite.

Well, it could be just a rumor. Strange that they would skip over Oregon.

Interesting. It seems In-n-Out is in expansion mode. Western states are the first in line. Would not be surprised if WA is not in their target zone.

I live in puget sound, I've had Dick's burgers, believe when I say that in-n-out will not have a tough road ahead if it opens up in Seattle, not the slightest.

Population? The Dallas metro area has 6.4 M people. Albuquerque has 900k. I can tell you where I would open a new branch...

We could probably use one South of Market, near the convention center, or maybe in the inner Richmond area. SF is pretty uptight about chain restos in the City. We have several In-n-Outs in the suburbs, but only one in the City, and it's in a tourist area that most San Franciscans would rather avoid.

In N Out is pretty decent as large chains go, but the best burger in LA would be found at one of the smaller chains(3 or 4 locations just in the LA area) or the many "stand alone" hamburger places.

Harrier won't tell you which is the best, because that is a matter of personal opinion, but these small "joints" are where you can get a real burger.

Drive around South Whittier or Pico Rivera - there is a hamburger "stand" on practically every corner.

I've heard a lot about In n Out Burger, as well as Pink's. But it appears that many Angelenos say Pink's is overrated now and is not as good as it used to be decades ago. What about In n Out Burger? As good as they say? Pics look amazing.

As I land in LAX, my first stop is going to be there and I'm very curious about those secret menus. Do I just look it up online and then order at the checkout? Or is there also a secret way of doing it, maybe some special sign or a handshake to make them understand what I'm there for?

Thanks!
hahha...i just had some in and out...

i never tried pinks...i lerv me some in and out though...

just tell them what you want...they are limited ... no mushrooms or red onions
their classic sauce is really good with some fries...
and if you want to watch the calorie intake, protein style is pretty much using the lettuce as the bun

bon appetite...
