Thanks everybody for the helpful info. I would just like to know what area/neighborhood is suitable and affordable for me to move to? Considering when i graduate from UofM I will be 25. I want to be around people my age (Recent college grads) and still have the urban density and not drive everywhere. Here in Detroit we have no mass transit and am sick of driving now.

Silver lake, Echo park are really cool places for young people. I work and lived in Culver City as a kid and i loved that area too. Culver City has a lot of cool places to hang out now and i am seeing a lot of younger people out and about.
