Anyone know the best/fastest commute from Claremont to UCLA? I start studying/working at UCLA in the Fall and don't know if the 210 is best (to avoid downtown LA traffic) or the 10 to the 110? Vanpools from Claremont to the university seem to be hard to come by.

ooh that will be horrible. the 210 will be worse than ever after the vacation season ends because caltrans just opened up the extension to the 215. the 10 and 60 are always bad. it's not the downtown LA traffic that matters; it's the traffic from all the trucks and san gabriel valley/san bernardino county commuters going to work all the way in Century City and Santa Monica. you'll be driving for at least 1-2 hours each way.

This isn't a daily thing is it? If it is, you must strongly consider another alternative especially if you are working and studying. No way man. That's 50 miles one way through some very busy areas.
