I recently graduated from Florida Atlantic University with Marketing and Management degree and could not find jobs related to my field here . Is it wise for me to come up to West Coast or stick to East Coast NYC or Florida to search for jobs . How is the job market for marketing jobs there in West Coast compared to East Coast and is it wise to move now or shall i move to NYC ? Is LA more in criss than in NYC where is wiser for me to move as a recent college graduate ? NYC Or LA . Please give me some advice thanks !

Apply everywhere.
Wait for an offer.
Make a decision.
If you accept the offer, move close to your job.

Agreed with above. Moving, without a job, is tough.

You started a thread about this same topic three days ago

https://www.city-data.com/forum/los-a...alm-beach.html

The california economy hasn't changed since your prior thread, the Ca economy is still crap and one of the worst in the country, worse than FL and worse than NYC. Move to Texas is my best advice for you.

Didn't you actually start this thread as well as the other?

I see now. You want to know which city (NY or LA) to move and subsequently look for a job once you are living there.

Might want to post this on the employment forum. Most of us on this forum probably don't have the kind of expertise to recommend which city supports more jobs in your major. You need to research this.

Still, no matter what you do, it is a risk - unless you are unemployed now and it doesn't really matter where you are unemployed but it is better to be unemployed with a support network like your family.

Go back and reread the two threads. I am from CA moving to TX. I am advising Inter441 to not move to CA. Inter441 is from FL wanting to move to CA. If you cannot decipher that we are two different people then you probably won't be able to comprehend this post either. LOL
