Born and raised on Long Island and lived here my whole life except 4 years at college upstate (where we'd have weather like this every day!)

My older sibs were all born in city hospitals...the oldest 2 lived in the Bronx for their first few years. The next two lived on LI their whole lives. Dad is from the city, mom is from New England. No one could understand her when she moved to the Bronx, LOL.

Born in Manhattan. Migrated to Queens than onward to Hicksville. That being said I did some time afterward in South Carolina during my teens. Back to Suffolk County then did a world tour in the military for about 20 years.

I suspect I am the minority. Grew up in Westchester county, always wondering what that stretch of land east of NYC was.

Lived in a bunch of places via the Navy and college...then landed here 2 years ago.

Might as well give the long history: Parents both from the Bronx.I was born in Queens. Moved to Selden, then Port Jeff Station till early college years, then I went into the Air Force.I came back to PJS,then went to Florida to check it out for a few months with friends(Tampa);no good. Then moved to Medford. Got married moved to Selden, then another Selden home, another 6 month Florida attempt(never again),PJS, north part of Coram, now the suburbs west of Rochester in NY for a little over a year.Coming back to Long Island for good in February hopefully around the Miller Place,Mt Sinai,Rocky Point area.I can honestly say that I will never leave the island again. At least in my military years I got see more areas and was stationed in places such as Texas,NJ,CA,Missouri, and Germany and a very short stint in the Azores but got to see the whole US so I gained tremendous perspective.

I was born in Rockville Centre (Mercy Hospital) raised in North Wantagh, lived there until I was 20, moved to Albany for 3 years (not for school), moved back to North Wantagh (but a different side of Wantagh Avenue LOL) lived here for the last 4 years.

My dad was born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Raised in Glen Cove. Mom born/raised in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, moved to Levittown in high school. Parents lived in New Cassel before moving to North Wantagh and birthing me and my brother.
