Yeah, I know. It's hard to read and extremely difficult to use.
You need zoom-in/out couple times to find the info you need.

No, not necessarily. If you ar right on the water def, but sometimes your house is in a flood zone, but not subject to flood, therefore you would be considered a flood zone "X", which really means your not subject to flood. I work in insurance, and after these last 2 storms we had I took out a policy to be on the safe side. I am in a flood zone "X" in massapequa park, but if the big one comes, flood zone or not, your house will be flooded, so better safe then sorry for the $300 a year you will pay!
