Hm. I went to HHHHSW and I didn't really notice this, but I didn't grow up there as a young kid. But according to what my friends say, everyone played nice with each other regardless of whether they were from Deer Park (which quite a few of my friends are), Dix Hills, or Wheatley Heights. I don't get the feeling that it's actually an issue. In fact, it was kind of refreshing to move from a district where everyone tried to pretend that they were more well-off than the next family (N. Bellmore) to a place where there actually was some legitimate socio-economic diversity, yet no one made a big deal of it. Overall, I really really wouldn't worry about it.
