If you grew up on LI in the 70's the big question was:
Who was better, Zebra, Twisted Sister or the Good Rats?

I always liked the Good Rats myself.

I kinda picture Zebra and Twisted Sister (remember when they were a zepplin cover band lol) as the same band don't know why - but good rats were good definatly better - they played on Sunrise hwy in West Islip I think all of the 70's lol.

Wasn't that Hammerheads and then Chevy's? It used to be a Jahn's and Korvette's. My Good Rats Live at Last is one of my most played CDs. What a great live band.

Ritchie Blackmore used lived on LI and used local talent for Rainbow. Bobbie Rondenelli of Samatha (remember the boa constrictor) played for him for awhile.
