Hello,

we are a young couple with two children (6 & 12) looking to buy our 1st home. Can any one give me advise on the best townS, best schools, and affordable homes for 1st time home buyers in nassau county, not too far out I work in NYC.

Look in Bellmore......you should get a small cape with a solid school district. try Levittown and East Meadow too.

Hicksville is nice too, on par with East Meadow and Levittown. It has a growing Indian poulation. Just drove thru Hickville last night......great town if you have to commute. Good luck!

All good recommendations. You might consider the Bay Park section of East Rockaway as well.
