Fishing dock in Huntington (New York, Kings Park: live, beach, station)

I am wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a fishing dock in/around Huntington/Cold Spring Harbor/Centerport/Northport or anywhere thereabouts? We will have the kids for a week next week and dad would like to take them fishing. Thank you!

Not sure what the rules are anymore, but in Huntington you used to able to go off the dock by Gold Star Battalion beach when I lived there it is right next to Coindre Hall which is a state park- there is a deli on Milldam rd that sells bait if not the gas station at New York Ave and Milldam sells bait as well. Also I think people fish right off the dock in Northport Village but it always was a busy dock.

When I launch my boat on the north shore, see many fishermen. Have a fishing dock there.

It is east of Sunken Meadow park (no fishing there) Sunken Meadow State Park, Kings Park, Long Island New York
