Why is it still .20 cents more in Huntington Village? lol
Gigi, the simple answer is that we are not smart enough to pump our own gas in that town (& NJ). I don't know how I have not blown myself up yet.......lucky I guess!

lol, you are right....even if you want to pump you're own gas you are not allowed.
What cracks me up is the people that will actually pay upwards of 50 cents more a gallon to have someone pump their gas.
Gentleman...please show your wives how to pump gas!
NJ has less gas tax, but many roads are toll roads. If you notice, you pay every time you get on the NJ tpke, $.60 here/ 1.00 there. It adds up to the same I'd bet. We have no toll roads on LI...
I just completed a business trip through the mid-west and was amazed at the huge swing in gas prices. In West Virginia, with toll roads the gas was $4.09 for regular at the rest stops, easily the highest I encountered. In driving through major cities it was easy to note the $.20 - $.30 per gallon difference in gas and question why it existed.
The lowest price I paid was $3.49 a gallon in Virginia.
Back home in North Carolina we pay on average about $.25 per gallon less than NY and we have one of the highest gas taxes in the country so go figure. It's all a shell game (no pun intended).
In pa over the weekend I filled up for $3.63. It was more expensive in NJ.
Yesterday I filled up at Hess for $3.81.
I refuse to pay for the extra charge to charge the gas to a credit card.So I refuse to go to Citgo.
