Wondering if it’s worth moving into a village area or not in Lindenhurst Long Island. Any opinions would be helpful. We don’t party much just on occasion. We’re laid back ppl for the most part. Thanks in advance.
Oh Stop, It's a middle class blue collar town. Nothing going on here that is not going on in similar neighbor hoods.
The Village does have it's own codes and code enforcement but play within the rules and you will be fine.
There are more than a few legal 2 family and rental apartments and some illegal that have multiple cars parking on the street but for the most part it's not a bad place to live.

I was being lied to belief that villages have their own rules of some sort. Which i don’t mind but i Wanted To more if i can’t hang out in my backyard at midnight just relaxing with friends drinking or playing cards etc etc. or listening to music in my home being considered too loud. Stuff like that.
