Hey everyone. I live in Albertson/Town of North Hempstead. My home sits on a corner lot. I’d like to bump out the side of my home that is parallel to the street. Any idea what the restrictions are? I would imagine that I must be a specific distance from the street. Does anyone know what the rules are? TIA.

You would do better to ask at the town so that you have accurate information that you can move forward with. Most likely their is a defined setback from the road (both sides in your case) that will be in place and intrusion would require a variance if they even allow them.

Good luck
