Just spoke to my who lives in Malverne and it's coming down hard. I am working in Farmingdale and right now it's sleeting. We are closing at 12pm today. My boss is working from home, he's in Setauket so it's just me. just looked outside and it's starting to stick to the ground.

I usually see the opposite of those state of emergencies. Everyone goes on the roads, and not to/from work. Its to the store.

I've got very large, slow falling flakes coming down.
Looks like movie snow.

LIRR employees should be beaten for locking up the first and last 2 cars of the train. It was a bit packed.

Looks as though it's stopped. About 1 inch of slush is all I see. Is the worst yet to come? I am in Islip. Looks like I could have stayed at work all day then.
