Hello:

I am looking to buy a house in Nassau County. I would like to get your advice what towns have the lowest property tax (no Village tax if possible). I have a disabled son 22 years old. I am not concerned about school districts but would be nice if is close to LIRR .

I have seen some houses in the market in certain areas of Valley Stream they don't charge village taxes, but it is confused

The house which I am looking for.... ranges between 350 to 450K.

I will really appreciate your advice. Thanks a lot!

If you choose Mill Brook, a good portion of it is fairly walkable to the train. Amenities like the village pool are also more expensive if you live within a Valley Stream school district but soutside the village, but not ridiculously so. It's still a good value.
