Besides Lowes & Home Depot?

I am looking for a fiberglass front entry door.

Mid Suffolk here.

Thanks!

we got a Jeldwen fiberglass door from Windowrama. They are all over. I'd recommend having it finished unless you know how to stain properly to make it look natural.

Thanks!

it was with 2 sidelites so it was $3k-ish unfinished. Without sidelites I think it was low 2's. Staining it ourselves saved us a few hundred.

as i remember, the more design, more patterns, more glass, etc....the more expensive.

Also consider a storm door for a few hundred more since you are going thru the trouble of the whole new door. Also a decent lock...esp brass can jack up the price as well.

A few yrs ago i did a fiberglass door with a patterned glass, 2 sidelights, new mortise lock & new screendoor....installation incl. for 4500

We were advised against a storm/screen door when using the fiberglass because it traps heat which is no good for the material/stain. Also I think a screen door takes away from the look of a finished fiberglass door.

5 yrs and running. zero problems so far.

I swap to the screen door for about 6 months and change to the glass for the other half of the yr.
